Report of Findings

After your first visit the doctor studies your X-rays, exam notes and information you supplied so that we can tell you exactly what the cause of your condition is and the recommended course of treatment.

He will show you your X-rays and explain to you what they mean and where the trouble areas are. He will also explain to you which nerves are involved and what systems of the body they affect. The doctor will ask you "What type of treatment you want; relief care or corrective care?" Based on your answer he will give you his recommendations and arrange for a financial consultation. You will leave this report knowing that the doctor will be able to help you and you will feel confident that your choice of doctors was correct.

We’ll spend about 15 minutes reviewing our findings with you and offering answers to the four questions most patients have when they consult our office:

DC and patient at report of findings
  • What’s wrong?
  • Can chiropractic help?
  • How long will it take?
  • How much will it cost?

You’ll Have Choices

Based on our findings, we’ll make recommendations and you’ll be presented with some choices:

  • Proceed with chiropractic care
  • Seek the opinion of another practitioner
  • Ignore the problem hoping it will resolve
  • Medication to reduce symptoms (referral required)
  • Physical therapy (referral required)
  • Surgical intervention (referral required)

Dr. Jere Asks some important questions of interest to Clearwater residents - Chiropractor Clearwater Dr. Jere Asks...

What controls every cell, tissue and organ of your body?
DNA? Wrong. Immune system? Wrong? Hormones? Wrong. It's your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body. When a chiropractor sees a Clearwater patient with say, stomach problems, we want to know why the brain is unable to properly control and regulate the stomach. Which prompts us to examine the nervous system—the focus of chiropractic care.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
