Meet the Doctors of Family Life
You've probably heard the saying, "Two heads are better than one." We've taken that to heart at Family Life. With five chiropractors on staff, you get the benefit of extra brainpower. Especially with difficult cases.
Introducing Clearwater Chiropractor Dr. Jere Jarrett
Dr. Jere had an early introduction to natural health care growing up in a household where natural methods were the norm. His mother, whom he affectionately calls a "renegade nutritionist" has always been a firm believer that diet, nutrition, exercise and a good mental and spiritual approach to life was all anyone needed. Dr. Jere continues that philosophy at Family Life:
"The body has a natural ability to heal itself. However, in our society people think they need to have drugs to heal or think they have no control over their body. This just isn't true. they just need guidance and proper information about what to do. Once applied, the body can start to heal."
Dr. Jere has been a practicing chiropractor for over 25 years and is the founder of Family Life Chiropractic Health Center. He personally delivers a full range of services including diagnostic consultations, chiropractic adjustments, nutritional counseling, sports injury therapy and much more. In addition, Dr. Jere continues to pursue his vital research into solutions for optimum health and nutrition.
Introducing Clearwater Chiropractor Dr. Rick Argall
Dr. Rick started out with a career in mechanical engineering but after sustaining a back injury he experienced chiropractic care first hand.
"I realized chiropractors are like engineers for the human body, without the use of drugs."
Because of this positive experience, he decided to abandon the pumps and furnaces to pursue a career helping people.
His purpose is to make it possible for patients to get more out of life as a result of handling physical problems through chiropractic and nutritional counseling.
"The vision for Family Life at its inception was to create a multi-discipline organization that could offer different types of health services and products to the community."
He also researched and implemented the first Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression program in the Clearwater area. Today the clinic has two VAX-D machines that help patients with chronic low back pain.
Patients who don't want surgery come to Family Life.
Introducing Clearwater Chiropractor Dr. France Carpentier
Prior to her chiropractic training, Dr. France worked in a hospital in Quebec, Canada as a Registered Nurse, specializing in gynecology and post-partum (after-birth) care. She also worked for 3 years with blind children.
Dr. France says of her personal experience in medicine:
"The (conventional) medical field was a total disappointment for me. Having been introduced to chiropractic at the age of twelve, I was healed of a 'mysterious' hearing problem in 2 treatments and subsequently adopted chiropractic as my health care. I was pretty naive in going into the nursing profession. But the hands-on-experience, still to this day, has been very useful."
Dr. France is delighted to be able to share her wealth of training, experience, and caring with patients of Family Life, especially her expertise with women and children. She has continued her extensive research into women's health care issues including the area of balancing women's hormones.
Introducing Clearwater Chiropractor Dr. Brian Dawson
Dr. Brian has been practicing chiropractic for over 16 years. during that time, he has treated all types of patients.
"I can't recall ever examining anyone I couldn't help with their body problems, the same type of problems YOU might have!"
Dr. Brian is accomplished in both chiropractic and nutrition. He thrives on resolving complex health issues.
Introducing Clearwater Chiropractor Dr. Karen Derr
Dr. Karen started out as a chiropractic assistant in a New Jersey office. She was so impressed with the daily miracles created in the office that she went to chiropractic college. She returned to the same office after graduating from the prestigious New York Chiropractic College and practiced for 6 years.
She recently relocated to Florida from New Jersey and is now a vital part of the team at Family Life. She holds many certificates in chiropractic techniques and continues to attend seminars to further her education and experience.
